In our first issue we chat to the team behind legendary Danish brand Molo. Molo have for a long time now stamped their unique mark on the children’s wear industry – it was a pleasure to meet with both the CEO Mogens Jepsen & Head Design for Girlswear Louise Klausen to learn a little more about the brand and the concept behind the AW17 collection.
Seeking authenticity for women on the internet is no joke. It has become increasingly rare to find a platform that presents genuine and relevant content without agenda.
Thankfully creatives like Yasmine Ganley are presenting thoughtful and evocative work that feels approachable. Yasmine Ganley a New Zealand based writer, photographer & editor that curates a delicate journal of musings, locality & feminine imagery.
Along with her gregarious yet down-to-earth nature, Rachelle Hruska is best known amongst New Yorkers as cofounder and CEO of the website Guest of A Guest, which chronicles social events, people and places across many of the U.S.’s major cities. But recently her creative leanings took an unexpected course, when she began embroidering famous hip hop lyrics onto vintage cashmere sweaters. Her tongue-in-cheek needlepoint doodlings quickly resonated amongst the style savvy on Instagram, leading to the launch of the brand Lingua Franca, now stocked on Net-A-Porter, and at Bergdorf Goodman and Liberty London, among others. For the impassioned feminist and mother, the project has become more than just a creative outlet – in the depressing climate of Trump’s America, her latest designs have taken a decidedly political turn. We spoke to Rachelle about motherhood, friendship, and why nobody should be ashamed of being feminist.
Shot on Super 8 in Sant Marti d'Empuries - The Animals Observatory SS'17 film 'A Memoir' once again invites you into an extraordinary world. The mothers voice heard at the end of the film reminds us of the long road travelled as a daughter and mother and the invisible thread that binds us. We love the creative genius of this company. Bravo friends!
